I show homes in the Charlottesville area almost every day. Many agents ask for feedback in one form or another. Some ask by email, Some call my cell and recently I got a text message asking for feedback.A few questions to ponder
1. Is it in my clients best interest to give feedback? What if my client is interested in the home, will this give the listing agent ammunition to go to another buyer and say that someone is serious about the same home… It does happen…. just did this week as a matter of fact.
2. Is feedback from a phone call the old way to do business? What I mean is that giving feedback is not the issue, but a phone call often interrupts business and I can certainly give better feedback when I have a few minutes in front of my computer.
3. Agents, What are your thoughts on feedback? Do you ask your buyers if they want you to give feedback on showings?
Call or email me if you need anything, Charles
