Today I get to do one of my favorite things and that is to discuss and show new construction in Charlottesville. New Construction is an area that requires an agent who understands the building process (even if you are looking at to be built neighborhoods).
The build process can take from several months to over a year (for a custom build) and knowing what to really expect is very important to the success of the project.
One point is when we look at homes together, as a buyers agent, I do not represent the seller. Remember the listing agent, builder rep or person in a sales office represents the seller and is obligated to get the best price possible for the seller.
On the other hand, I work for your best interests.
