There is a lot of history around Charlottesville and sometimes, when I am walking down a sidewalk I wonder why else has walked there.
Below is a photo of a sidewalk I took at the University of Virginia. These walkways were designed by Thomas Jefferson and built by his architects. There have been literally millions of feet on these walkways and many famous people.
Jefferson most likely and even people like Edgar Allen Poe (who attended the University of Virginia)…
Oh yes and your Charlottesville Real Estate Agent, Charles McDonald has even walked these sidewalks!
Next time you are in a historic area, think about who may have walked where you are. It will certainly widen your perspective!
